spring was here!

Remember when it felt like spring?  Before the cold and the wind and the snow and the rain (oh, the rain!) came sweeping in and driving us indoors?  Remember when spring colors and bare feet seemed appropriate?

I barely remembered before I looked back at these.  The wind two nights ago actually woke me up repeatedly – not only with the shear ferocity of its noise, but by somehow managing to rattle one of the doors inside my home!

Well, before I left Atlanta for a week to move to warmer temperatures (and to experience a 30 degree drop over the duration of my drive back), I met this family out on a lovely spring morning!   I first met them when their oldest was just a wee babe, and they’ve gone and moved out of state on me!  But I was so excited to hear from them and be able to catch up with them again on their weekend visit.

Here’s their preview.  Wishing a happy first birthday to the little lady here, too.  🙂

Ain’t they all cute??

vacation week…

I have a couple of previews to get to, and several sessions waiting for me as soon as I get back home – which will be in just a couple of days, but I haven’t been able to post this week because I’m vacationing in Key West!

So, back to reality (and cold weather) soon enough.  For now, I’m enjoying a little fresh air and the sounds by the sea.  🙂

baby brother B

9 days old.  So sweet.

You may recognize this family if you look up at the header at the top of this page.   That’s big brother and sister with the lollipops!  One of my favorite families to photograph, and now they have a new member.

Looking back at these, I can tell how loved he is by his siblings already.

I was liking black & white for these guys today – had to make myself include some color in this preview:
