wherein the cuteness overfloweth

This was supposed to be a mini-session – they met me just before I was starting another session, on a borrowed porch, and the goal was to get just 1 or 2 photos of this boy sitting up.  You know, just a little something to mark the sitting-up for the first time event.

But… do you see him?  See how cute he is???  He sat there, and actually squealed with laughter for almost the entire time we were there.  As if he could continue to do so for just hours more if we left him to it.  So I couldn’t take just a shots – because how do you stop when this face is sitting in front of you and laughing?
And then we managed to trick his sister to being in a few at the end, and the very last one may be my favorite.

I had a hard time narrowing them down.  (Also – note to the mom – I had the song about his head stuck in my own head for the next 2 days aftewards.)

Here’s the happy handsome little man.
I need to go squish something now.

Curious E

Happy 3rd birthday to my beautiful goddaughter!!

You  know what they say, double the princess dress (at the same time), double the sweetness.

I had to take pictures of these decorations, because I’m incredibly impressed that they were homemade.  True, it’s easy to impress me when it comes to home crafts, but really, my good friend (E’s mom) always amazes me.  She does more in a day than I could in a month.

baby E, 17 days old

This baby girl has the most flawless skin I’ve ever seen on a newborn.  Put her and her mama together and the camera loves it!

She also wanted to be awake – the whole entire time.  This lady doesn’t want to miss any action.  But please, don’t make me face the light, and I prefer to be clothed and held, too.

Can’t really blame her.  Smart girl.  🙂
