Mini-Session First Peak

Fall mini-sessions got off to a great start last weekend!  We couldn’t have asked for better fall weather (although we could ask for the leaves to catch up to the air a little bit…) but I had so much fun with these 5 families – and I really mean that.

Three of them were back for their 3rd year in a row (I’m going to have to return to that and take a look at them over time!) and two I met for the first time.  It’s so special to see the same families again each year, and it’s exciting to see new faces, too.

This was just the tip of the autumn iceberg…  13 more families coming up this weekend!!

Here’s just the first image I picked of each family to process…   We started with a sweet sweet little lady of a girl, followed by a fast and curious toddler on the run, and then a family whom I’ve known since mom was single, a new family with 3 of the handsomest and gentlemanly brothers I’ve ever seen, and lastly one more brother sister pair – one of my very first jobs was photos of big sister when she was still a bump in the belly!

with all his baby hairs in tact…

I had another session later with this family – next time with dad there – but this 14-month-old was going to be getting his first hair cut before our session date, and so we HAD to fit in a little mini-session to get a few of him before that happened!

Look at this guy and his curls!  And his book and his little crossed feet.  He was the cutest little thing.  So much personality in this small body!

M’s 1st Birthday

After a string of boys, I finally had a girl’s first birthday to celebrate!

I met Miss M at her home with her family (including aunt, uncles and grandparents) and close friends.  Good people, good food, good talk, and a reason to celebrate – what else do you need for a perfect day?  Happy birthday, M!  Hope you can look back on these one day and see how loved you are.

Hi, can I get more information on your birthday party package? My son is turning 1 and we are looking for a photographer. His party is Saturday October 28th 2017 in Alpharetta ga in our neighborhood club house. It’s a little bug theme 🙂

Please let me know your pricing information and anything else we need to know.

Thanks!
Kat

Cousins in the A!

What?!  How did I not blog this session??

I somehow came across this lapse this week, and had to rectify this immediately, because I loved this session!
Partly because I love these people.  Dad here is my cousin; he and his family were visiting Atlanta from North Carolina this spring, so we got together for a little family photo time – and then pizza and ice cream, because that had been promised to the girls during photo time…  (The adults may have enjoyed a treat-reward as well.)  The girls were 9 and 7 this spring, wish I got to see them more often – look how sweet and silly they are!

Taylor was always making me laugh when we were kids, so I’m happy that we captured some images of them laughing together.  Such a fun family, every single one of them.  And so neat to see my cousin all grown up to be such a great dad.

Here they are – aren’t we all so pretty??  (I am using “we” in the collective family sense here. 🙂 )

Absolutely loved all these photos of our Charlotte Family! Of course, they are all so good looking & fun just seems to seep out of their faces.
You captured it, Jennifer!
Great work!

Beautiful–all of them! You could not have captured them better, Jenn! I’m so thankful to be a part of this family!!

Welcome, baby E

It’s pretty amazing to get to spend some time with a family in their home as they welcome their first child.
Baby boy E and his parents and a quiet morning in this light-filled Atlanta home.

Meet little E and his happy mom and dad.  🙂
