We had a beautiful spring day for this family; I love this weather while it lasts – not ready for the summer heat… But it does feel nice when we get that sunshine and a little warmth in the air after a winter.
This family is always fun to be with! I last saw them in October and they have added one more since then – check out the different between October and April here! We now have a full 3-year-old with a little sister. Adorable.
This guy may look familiar from a couple of posts ago. After we did his one year session at the river, I went to his birthday party (on his actual first birthday!) the very next weekend. As you can see, I had trouble narrowing down the number of images here for his preview!
Mom showed so much thoughtfulness with these decorations and party favors for his friends – matching up each little adoptable toy puppy with their real-life dog counterpart. He had adoring grandparents there, and lots of good friends, and did one of the best jobs of making a mess with his cake that I’ve ever seen. You see him go from excited about the song to curious about the cake, to surprised then upset the taste, to really getting into some frosting sweetness.
A lot to see! It was a beautiful day!

I met with this family on one of our early spring days for a walk around a town square. Love all the colors – so nice after a long winter! Even if it was a little cool and breezy that day.

I completed another 1st year package this spring, and I can’t express how amazing it is to be there to see these babies grow. Not just physically, but to see their little personalities emerge, too. I met E when she was 2 weeks old, and concluded my 4th session with her at her one year birthday party. You can see her newborn, 4 month, and 8 month sessions in these links.
