March flashback

I’ve gotten so very behind on personal photos… going to start the catch-up process right now…

Back on St. Patrick’s Day weekend, I had a lovely reunion with my 2 college roommates.  We met at the home of one of them, got to meet her new daughter, played with her sons, drank a little wine, and did a whole lot of talking.  It’s so nice to have one of these weekends once in a while…  And I’m about to have one again!  On my way to stay with my other favorite roommate this time, but we’re going to meet up with our third at our old college grounds.

Because I know that one of these ladies would stab me in my sleep if I posted a photo of her (no matter how fabulous she looks), I’m just going to focus on the 3 little people we were with all weekend.   In a day we went to the river walk, came back and played in the back yard, the boys posed for photos with their new sister, got ready for bed, had one conk out, cooked-out, and played soccer in pj’s with the remaining awake young man.    It was the first weekend to feel like summer!  Summers of long ago, when I played outside until the sun went down.

I offered this guy a cookie when he found a missing lens cap in record time. He said he didn't want a cookie, so I asked what he'd like. He said, "A kiss." And then with a tap added, "On my forehead." Completely irresistible.

Just the guys

Just after this was taken big brother whispered that that he’d like a picture of just him and his sister.  But he offered up the chance to his little brother first.  (See how sweet they were?)

This is Sam's "I'm going to beat you" soccer face. I got to know it well.

Thanks to Chris for getting this of my end-of-day soccer practice with my friend, Zachary.

I love these pictures. You did a fantastic job capturing each one’s personality. (I’m Chris’s aunt.)
